Refresher cable crane technology Wyssen
Initial situation
The new FCOS Directive No. 2134 “Forestry work” has been in force in Switzerland since December 6, 2017.
The topic of rope crane installation has been added to the old EKAS guideline “Forestry work”.
It was realized that the cable crane installation is also subject to the crane ordinance.
Appendix 2 of the FCOS Directive lists the instructions and training required for the transportation of timber using cable crane systems.
